Shipment

 

Special shipment/handling notes for each type of purchase are provided below. Please contact service@visionsinbrick.com if you may require special processing/shipping needs.  

  1. Plans/Instructions - Instructions are transmitted electronically through an online file transfer service called WeTransfer usually within 24-48 hours of receiving your payment. Your dedicated link to download the instructions from WeTransfer will be sent to either your specified email, or the email address associated with your PayPal payment. If you don't see the email from WeTransfer within 48 hours, please check your email spam/junk folder. The WeTransfer link to download the files expires automatically after 7 days. If you still don't see the WeTransfer message or your link has expired before you downloaded the files, please contact service@visionsinbrick.com. 

  2. Full Set/Kit - Full sets are shipped free within the U.S. via FedEx Ground. Full sets are custom made-to-order. Sets typically ship within 15 business days, unless otherwise stated in the product listing page due to the time and labor. Customers outside the U.S. should contact service@visionsinbrick.com before purchasing to confirm shipment pricing and availability. Sets are shipped fully insured. Due to the value of most sets, a direct signature for receipt will be required.

  3. Completed/Assembled - Shipment method will depend on the particular design due to overall shipping size and weight restrictions. Completed designs will typically ship via FedEx or UPS ground services, but may require special freight service depending on the particular design. Completed sets are custom made-to-order. Sets typically ship within 30 business days, unless otherwise stated in the product listing page due to the time and labor. Customers outside the U.S. should contact service@visionsinbrick.com before purchasing to confirm shipment pricing and availability. Sets are shipped fully insured. Due to the value of most sets, a direct signature for receipt will be required. 

Purchase

 

Designs in the shop are available for purchase with three possible options.

  1. Plans/Instructions - Each design plan is created using standard LEGO-style instruction format so that the steps are easy to follow and familiar to LEGO®​​ builders. The plans are written to Adobe PDF file format for portability. All plans include full part inventory lists and sticker images (if applicable). Optional files may be provided to help builders locate/source the pieces needed to build the design. Original computer digital model design files (CAD files such as LDD, MPD, LDR) are NOT provided. Plans are provided in an electronic/digital format. Printed (i.e. paper) plans are NOT available. Plan/Instruction purchases are often preferred by builders that are comfortable locating pieces to build a model and/or using pieces they may already have. 

  2. Full Set/Kit - Unassembled build-it-yourself set of the design. The set contains the building plans on CD/DVD plus all LEGO® pieces needed for assembly. Plans may also be transmitted electronically through online file transfer service WeTransfer as described in section 1 above. Pieces are pre-sorted and packaged so that the set is delivered ready-to-build. Printed sticker sheets are provided (if applicable to the design). All sets are custom made-to-order. This option is best for builders that want to save the time and effort needed to locate the necessary pieces and/or sort the parts, but still want the enjoyment of building the set. Note that if you have already purchased the plans/instructions for a design, the price paid for them will be deducted from the price of a full set/kit.

  3. Completed/Assembled - This option is for a fully assembled design (or large assemblies which may require minor assembly after delivery). Some (or all) LEGO® pieces may be glued for permanence and to prevent breakage during shipment. Glued designs are also the best choice for public display since "DO NOT TOUCH" signs are seldom a deterrent to touching, especially when it comes to LEGO®. Completed designs are the best option for buyers seeking a completed work of art ready for display upon delivery. Note that if you have already purchased the plans/instructions for a design, the price paid for them will be deducted from the price of a completed/assembled design.

Returns

 

Contact service@visionsinbrick.com if you need to request a return/refund. Return notes for each type of purchase are provided below.

  1. Plans/Instructions - All sales are final. No returns or refunds unless the following exceptions are met. The customer may request their order be cancelled for full refund if the request is made before the order is processed. If the order has been processed and the files sent electronically to WeTransfer a dedicated link to download the files will be sent to the customer. The dedicated link will expire automatically within 7 days. If the customer does not download the files within 7 days, a full refund will be issued after the link has expired. If the instruction files are downloaded from WeTransfer, no refunds will be allowed.  

  2. Full Set/Kit - Full sets are custom made-to-order. Returned sets are subject to a 20% of purchase price restocking fee. Return shipping is paid by the buyer. Return shipments should be in the original packaging with all included materials. Return shipments must be fully insured with tracking information provided to VISIONS IN BRICK.

  3. Completed/Assembled - Completed/assembled sets are custom made-to-order. Returned sets are subject to a 33% of purchase price restocking fee. There is a higher restocking fee for completed sets due to the additional labor, shipping costs, and reduced demand for completed work since most customers prefer to build the LEGO® design. Return shipping is paid by the buyer. Return shipments should be in the original packaging with all included materials. Return shipments must be fully insured with tracking information provided to VISIONS IN BRICK. If the assembled product is damaged (NOTE that LEGO® pieces that get loose or may pop off the completed model is not considered damage since it can be reattached) please contact service@visionsinbrick.com for an appropriate resolution such as a refund, exchange, or repair.

Payment

 

PayPal is the preferred method of payment. PayPal payments are sent to: service@visionsinbrick.com

Due to size and complexity some designs may require additional time to process since all sets are custom made-to-order. Should additional processing be required, an option may be provided to place a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the set value at time of purchase, with the remaining 50% balance due paid when the set is ready to ship. Estimated processing times are listed on each product listing page.

  3. Completed/Assembled - Full payment is required at time of purchase unless otherwise noted in the product listing. Due to size and complexity some designs may require additional time to process since all sets are custom made-to-order. Should additional processing be required, an option may be provided to place a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the set value at time of purchase, with the remaining 50% balance due paid when the set is ready to ship. Estimated processing times are listed on each product listing page.
